Fun and useful Twitter

I have been sick over the weekend and couldn't participate today so I'm writing an extra blog post to replace the absence of today. Last monday was pretty helpful and instructive. We learned a lot with Vesa Robertson about how to use different tools best way in social media. Week ago Vesa told us more about twitter and how it can be successful platform to gain visibility. Vesa has his own start up business, which works in music industry and he is using twitter to achieve the desired visibility and increase customer base. I don't have any knowledge about twitter it is totally new thing for me, so I would say it was interesting to hear about it and thanks to Vesa now I have opened my twitter account and willing to learn even more! So first of all you have to make an account to twitter where you can add a profile picture and say few words about yourself. Then you can start to follow anyone who you see engrossing. Twitter thing itself with interesting topic is starring and anyone can participate in the discussion. Written tweets can be read by anyone. It is a worldwide open community, where you can start to follow just anyone. But thats why also has to be careful what we say and tweet on twitter, because its public platform. What we say and share anyone can see. Also anyone can follow anyone. Followed person may choose to follow a successor, but this is not necessary. It is the user's own choice, or does the person even want to follow those who follow him/her. Vesa recommended to follow everyone who follows us, because it always looks good when there is many people following you. Visibility is guaranteed. Best way to get followers, you follow exactly the types that interest you and also inspire them to chat with you. The aim is to create a debate around the current issues which are also of interest to each successor. And when it comes to tweeting be personal. Tweet exactly as you want. Some tweets just links to articles, some only tell their daily lives, while others are a little of both - the golden way hardly exists at all. Its more fun to tweet things which are part of your personal interests. Authenticity, openness and transparency are advantages not only on Twitter, but also throughout the social network.

-#hastags are part of the use of twitter and other users can find the topic

-Text-based messages, tweets can contain up to 140 characters

-Retweet means tweet by another user re-publication
