Inspired about stories

This week started with lecture Anna's presentation and we also had guest Anu speaking about design services and different innovations for digital marketing. Anna's presentation there was one good quote I really like. Seth Codin, author and marketing guru says that people do not buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories and magic. We do not want to buy any more material. Rather we experience and feel things. We want to do things that we remember for a long time. Which have some meaning. The real key lies in the persona. So often what people want in life can be achieved once they let go of many of the symptoms of what’s holding them back. Often we have to show prospects what letting go and refocusing on what matters looks like before they start to see that as the answer. There is always business in that. It is always possible to offer added value to consumers. You just have to do it in the right way.

I found good blog post in this topic. Brenda Kinsel writes on her blog how it is important to sell people your stories than showing on paper which services you have for what price. There is such a good point on that. Tell your personal story. Whats behind of all. What's so different compare others. Trust your own story and success. Focus to your product and how it stands out from other companies offering the same service counter. Be genuine. Believe in yourself and your product. At least I'm more interested in entrepreneurs who have their own story behind the service. Strong dream, which is shared out loud. But storytelling is only the first step in immersion approach. Storytelling opens the door for individuals to connect with your brand. Biggest mistake is to cling to the sense that people want information about your brand. These days, they can easily find that on the Internet. Don't only use such an amount for advertising. Instead, tell stories, drawing them into richer and more powerful immersive experiences.People want to merge their identity with something larger – to enter the world the story lives in, sharing and being defined by the story. And you must provide that. I would say I want the soul in things. I want to understand the whys and the whats and the values that surround it. Of course we all spent money for pointless stuff. But I would argue the added value of each of us to receive, when we use our money more wisely in one of the experience or feeling. Of course, buying behavior has certain principles, but the consumer's needs can always be affected. By building a strong and authentic brand around a business, as well as telling the story exposition provides a good foundation. Taloustutkimus ltd says on its website as follows: Guest prized brand creates a sustainable basis for future growth, to increase sales in the long term and contributes to the development of the whole operation. But how to build a strong brand? Through stories! It is at least one way to go. Stories to communicate marketing messages to consumers is quite effective and powerful tool, especially when you want to create an emotional relationship to products and brands. Behind this phrase are Herskovitz and Malcolm Stephen Crystal, whose writings you can find out more here. Oops, I think I got excited on that subject. Long script though.

However, this week was in all respects nice. Much easier week. Or I just did all the job in time and I also had some more freedom than usually. I'm a bit of the type of person that everything has to be under my control or I collapse. It is also known as a perfectionist. Now it is easier because network to get work event is over! Only feedback conversation coming up on next week. I'm so relieved! I can concentrate on my school and my work tasks, as well as sport. I have to admit that I have recently been a bit lazy what comes to my trainings. Thank goodness tomorrow is Sunday. Sabbath. No work to do. But four hours workout waiting for me. My favorite days are Sundays. I know. I've told it before. I see my family and I sleep at least till 10am. I do not look at my phone too much. I do not answer e-mails and I don't answer any phone calls from work.. On Sunday, I do not do any school task and I do not even think about work. It is important to know how to give yourself your own time and recharge the batteries for the new week. I found a wonderful article related to the balance of life. There is no need not always be so hard. Sometimes it's okay to be lazy. Life is perfect just the way it is. We should remember to be happy with this moment and not always strive for perfection. Enjoy your sunday. At least i will!
